Salted Caramel & Coffee Bites (No Bake)
Let's not kid ourselves. Whatever the weather, mood, work out routine you have going on in your life cakes and sweet things are just a good thing to have. And so, we have been a little bury in the kitchen and made these rather nice bites.
Funky Nut Natural Peanut Butter: Helps to bind the energy bites together.
Rolled Oats: I prefer to use old fashioned oats or rolled oats in this recipe. If you want to keep these bites gluten free make sure to use certified gluten free oats!
Ground Flax Seed: Adds a boost of fiber and nutrients. If you don’t have flax seed on hand substitute hemp seed, chia seed or add extra oats.
Funky Nut Salted Caramel: Adds the perfect amount of sweetness to these energy balls.
Instant Coffee: Your fave brand will do.
85g Funky Nut Peanut Butter
128g Rolled Oats
64g Ground Flax Seeds
2 Tablespoons Funky Nut Salted Caramel
2 Teaspoons of your fave instant cofee
How to make No Bake Energy Bites
Just mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Roll out in a medium baking pan and chill before cutting into bite sized portions.
These bites will last a week in the fridge but there’s now way they will be around that long.
If you want to push the boat out, try making two layers of the bites and add lashings of the salted caramel between them both.
